Business people do business deal. Its hardly headline news. I am not necessarily doubting Simon Jordans motives but do we think we would be where we are today if he was still in control?
Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that. |

I've heard bits and pieces of him on Talksport and can hardly bear to listen to him. Don't get the respect for his opinion and think he's complete cringe. The irony of the suggestion that he was stitched up by others.

Jordan was in hock to a hedge fund whose sole purpose is to make money, they had no interest in the club or the community unlike Lloyds bank who realised they optics look bad due to the tremendous palace support outside their offices. Maybe Parish did put the boot in but if Jordan hadn't put the club into debt.... Businessmen take advantage of other businessmen that's how capitalism works.

I've repeatedly said this is Jordan's claim not mine. He could well be lying or wrong. I dont really care either way if he is bang on the money and Parish was behind the whole thing. I personally think its more likely Parish was watching Jordan slowly destroying himself and then moving in once he was out of the picture.

The administrator is both an agent of the company and an officer of the court. A company cannot go into administration unless it is insolvent, or likely to become insolvent. If the administrator says there was only one game in town = CPFC2010, I'd be inclined to believe it. There was no one else, we were one day away from being liquidated as the administrator had run out of money.

Big mouthed gobs***e who should be embarrassed every time he looks at Palace and sees Parish eclipse him in every way. Cost us PL loans with his bloating on and failed us in the Jan 2005 window. Left us a tired old club on the ropes and in dire need of a spark

We were never liquidated BTW, if we were the club would not exist. Bury and Macclesfield Town, as examples, both ceased trading and had to reform as new clubs. My main point was that the £30m Jordan claims he lost may not have been that much - in the accounts he was listed as a creditor owed £7.8m.
