I hate what has happened at Newcastle with the take over. It just shows that money rules football and just how corrupt it is.

Yes, Mike Ashley treated the club badly, but the solution was not to sell to the worst consortium ever to grace football. Absolutely wrong and sums up football!

Very sad times and I truly hope we hammer them and it begins a terrible run that sees them get relegated.

I used to like Newcastle ever since the FA Cup away game when Gazza scored a worldy. I always remember after the game when we were leaving the ground the tanoy announcer wished us good luck getting promoted. Very classy...

However, now I would love to see them go down and it all go terribly wrong for them. I am sure I will not be the only one, and I think they will become the most hated club in the country.

Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.

This is the worst team we have come up against, we need to really give them a beating.

Foot hard on the pedal all game

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

A win and perlease do not try to sit on a 1 goal lead. I can't take any more.

Steve Bruce has been sacked, effectively.

He's lucky to be leaving with a bumper pay-out rather than in a series of binbags.

The bell end has us done for a 2-1 win - I think it will be far more convincing.

5-0. We are gonna be all over the hem like a rash Edouard 2 Olise Ayew Gallagher and Johansen.

This would be a Premier League "first". Six goalscorers sharing five goals.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Would like to be a fly on the wall in the Director's box if this is true! Our Steve doesn't mince his words.

The Athletic reports: "Multiple sources indicated that Crystal Palace ’s part-owner and chairman, Steve Parish, was the most vociferous and rallied the other clubs to vote against the proposals, especially after being threatened with legal action.

“He basically said, ‘I don’t care about your threats’,” the chairman present continued. “Ultimately, what he (Parish) said carried the room because everyone, bar two clubs, voted in favour.”

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

Just for context -

Vote was for blocking Newcastle United from making related-party sponsorship deals.
