There does seem to be a fundamental misunderstanding of how businesses work with some on here though. Even though companies on the surface and to the layman make huge profits it’s usually due to volume rather than profit margin. Amazon for example take a tiny cut of every transaction; there’s just millions of them.

Larger businesses have cash reserves, market share, and brand domination to cope with shocks to the market such as an increase in the minimum wage. Smaller businesses are far more like a hand to mouth household and a sudden increase in costs can be the difference between being sustainable or not.

Remainers seem to want to focus upon Brexit yet we have just gone through multiple lockdowns,.....probably most of whom were supporters of which....like I said it would, has crippled the economy (even no lockdown would have because of fear mongering) where we are now risking rising prices and falling growth, not seen since the seventies. This isn't quickly fixable like some appear to think...we have trebled our debt in the last ten years.

Yet so many can't get out of their Brexit bubble.....Well, I'll tell the EU lovers something....delivery drivers are temporary and fixable just like all the supply chain....having a fecked economy is longer term.
