Well some companies are pulling ads already and the protests haven't even started. And this is exactly what the channel is trying to highlight, that freedom of speech is being eroded. A Channel of hate! Ffs they are putting forward more than just a left leaning view of the world. who the f are Octopus Energy anyway.

They couldn’t have done more to promote the Channel if they tried, hilarious.

The more negative PR the more people will tune in to see what the fuss is about. I have a feeling it will fail simply because we have too many news channels already and not enough people watching them. Sure 6 and 9 pm news on BBC gets an audience but what about the other 22 hours in the day. Most of the youngsters get their news from social media and the web. It's a bit like launching a brand new diesel taxi service when you should be switching to electric. I don't doubt there is a group of people fed up with the progressive stuff that Auntie pushes but are their enough and if there are is a new channel the right vehicle to satisfy that need. I guess time will tell.

Incredible! It's been on air less than a week and, despite the poor production, off-beat presenters and anti-woke messages, big corporations are running scared. Or maybe it's because rather than despite. Either way they're getting their message across. And, frankly, it's refreshing.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

So freedom of speech is companies being forced to advertise on a platform they don't want to be associated with?

By 'running scared' do you mean 'running a mile from being associated with it?'

If anything they are being forced to withdraw It is their using the word “hate” that I object to. If it is “hateful” to report facts that some may not want to hear, we are in a very sorry place Edited by Spiderman (16 Jun 2021 9.47am)
