Im just guessing, but, same as most like the rest of the world when they speak 'English' its always with an 'Americanism' which basically comes from watching American shows on TV.

From my experience it always seems to be nearly always ladies/girls from Eastern Europe who pick up an American accent first for some unknown reason??
As for Americanisms I always find Faucet a strange one & the other two that baffle the Americans are Squash (as in Orange Squash/Ribena Etc) they don't have an equivelant or my favouriteone Shopping Cart as opposed to Trolley.

Pro USA & Israel

Philistine, that Canadian.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Maybe it’s all the GI’s they had socialised with prior to arriving in the US

I admire American's unbridled passion for everything.. even though it can get a little wacky depending on how it's channeled!

Mexico for starters more so than the USA, but then it's easier to blame the dumb old yanks I suppose?
Funnily enough North Korea bans them completely I wonder why?
Gun violence happens for sure, but most citizens will never witness it.
The only time I actually saw some was when I lived on 117th & Adam C Powell in Harlem (now crawling with hipsters & liberals moaning about gentrification)
One HOT humid night I was looking out of the window & heard an argument going on when all of a sudden a guy pulls out a handgun & blasted someone straight in the head the gunman legged it but amazingly the guy who was shot pretty much got up on his feet straight away & I'm assuming by the amount of police who arrived there after the shooting that he refused both hospital treatment & to name who his assailant was.
This incident didn't even make page 34 of the papers

The ones who did are now dead.

Cancun, best beaches I been to, including florida and barbados.

I was not impressed with Barbados.

Maldives is better than anywhere, although I've not been to Bora Bora. I hear that's nice.

What I dislike is certain Americanisms like saying 'So' at the start of a sentence.
Why do people do that? It's really irritating.
