Anyway, does anybody actually like using Wetherspoons for anything other than cheap beer and appalling food?

Shock news Duplicitous views expressed by person utilising media. The only galling thing, is that they've publicly changed their mind in order to maintain personal wealth/position, having been blissfully ignorant of the potential pitfalls of their previously held stance, and how it could affect people. I've never experienced the 'flag waving' nationalism in any other country I have lived in, only the UK and that's only obvious when you've been living outside of the country. I'm not talking about football tournaments but everyday life. No 'resentment' at all, just observation from looking in from the outside but typically it's taken as a resentment when it's pointed out. Heyho, nothing I can do about that but it's a typical trait shown when people don't have real experience of other cultures. A week's vacation somewhere hot twice a year doesn't really cut it.

If someone is content with all parts of their life and where they live then that's fine with me. You probably were never happy and it's all false as you are still not happy. Hey ho though it takes all sorts I suppose.

So in short, you have a problem with Britain and that prejudice clouds your views. One thing the majority did do was vote to regain our independence from a former trading block with increasing ambitions to become a European superstate.
