Warming up correctly, warming down correctly, making sure the surfaces you work on are suitable, nutrition, supplements, general fitness, massage and physio, ice baths, the list goes on. Surely you mitigate risk of injury by ensuring you are class leaders in these areas. I’m with the group that think we are doing something wrong because I can’t believe any team can be as unfortunate as us when it comes to training injuries. Match injuries I can understand but not training. Clearly some have not snapped theirs or know people that have. Did you know certain commonly used tablets such as ibuprofen can affect human bodies differently. Too much sex can lower the repairing capabilities of a body. Not enough collagen to repair the damage because bodies process foods differently. Or age’s that it commonly happens to men or woman. Imagine trying to set off on a run and your foot slips back on a little bit of mud so you end up in the ‘beckham foot angle position (check his picture playing for Milan when he did his) and pop it goes snap..guess that person should have looked down before moving forward for the 500th time over 90 minutes in an intense game of football I snapped mine playing football in a cup final where we actually had trainers warming us up and everything else. It is a long road back for normal people. Footballers normally are fine. Hudson-Odoi and Beckham and Loftus Cheek and Benteke and etc etc been fine after it. Numerous American footballers and basketball players and tennis players had it occur but carry on professionally I just can’t believe how fans always have to blame some person or some structure.. accidents happen. Shi t happens.

Should have a great future under Nuno if he goes with a wing back system

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Any updates on Ferguson?' by becky With various reports giving encouraging news about Eze's return to training, I wondered if there was any positive news about Ferguson?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Any updates on Ferguson?' by becky PV said this week he is now training on the pitch alone with his our routine. He didn't say any more than that so my guess is that we might see him by the end of the year assuming no further setbacks.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Any updates on Ferguson?' by becky Article says we only have to pay 900,000 for him. Much less than anticipated. Let's hope he can get fit soon, else even that amount will be too much!

His transfer fee has been decided by the tribunal it is £900,000 We originally agreed a fee of £8m before the deal fell through. If he becomes the player we all hope he will be it will be a real bargain.

I do hope however he isn't another Conor Wickham and suffer with injury after injury. We do seem to be rather unfortunate with injuries, maybe it is time for a change of luck. Competition for places is only going to see us get even better. It is a good time to be a Palace fan.
