It could be a bit lively in the evenings!

The youth club in the early 70s was a bit lively too.

I dismiss nothing. I said that viruses tend to mutate. The fact that mutation is the first step in evolution is also totally irrelevant to what I said.

It's not worth replying. He is ever focused on dressing people down with some kind of 'profound point' that's either a complete non sequitur or a load of nonsense. For starters Covid-19 is mutating (a perfectly accurate scientific term to use in this context - not some 'red top' sensationalism). It's doing so more slowly than the seasonal flu, hence why a seasonal jab is a good approach for those who are elderly or clinically vulnerable.

The other month he boldly claimed that 'the pandemic ended in this country in April/May' and informed people of how brainwashed they were if they believed otherwise. The most important thing at this time is looking to roll out this vaccine ASAP, rather than contributing social media level musings that inevitably age like milk. The death and hospitalisation rate will tumble if we get our act together on that front.

Coronavirus vaccine: PM expects 'tens of millions' of jabs by April - [Link]

Sounds rather optimistic numbers-wise but fair play if he ends up being right.

They must have been offered a cut price deal.

Nope, up the end of the road. Around 188, where the new houses are now.

I think the government may have underestimated how much the task of vaccinations for the whole of the UK is going to be, could be a lengthy process.

Government getting it wrong??
Surely not.

Yes they need to be efficient and well organised, and those aren't words you'd typically associate with government. Let's hope they surprise us in a good way for a change.
