Looking at the fixtures you have to say February is going to be the most important month of our season. All winnable games. If we get on a bad run during the difficult January matches we have coming up then I just hope there would be enough left in the tank to get us back to winning ways in Feb.

I still think we will survive but don’t fancy us for higher than 14th or 15th this year.

The Blades are down, the Baggies will need to splash the cash to have any chance of staying up and I think the bottom half of the league could well end up exactly as it currently stands.

I totally agree as looking at the quality of teams above us,cannot see us doing any better than achieving 14/15 th.

When we start looking up is when the problems usually start. I hardly dare say Europe on here, as it is jinx word for us. Jinx.

Good to see the fat one guiding WBA into yet another humiliating defeat, this time in the Cup to lowly Blackpool.
Keep up the good work and cement yourselves in the bottom three.

I think Fulham have every chance now. Watching them v Spurs they were fluent and with midfielders running beyond the front players gives them another dimension, something that Macca used to do for us but he hasnt scored for 2 years very much a full on DM these days now that hes creaking a bit

With both Brighton and WBA winning, some teams got games in hand on us and we are at Man C tomorrow.
I really feel that we could be plunged into a real relegation battle.

It is very difficult to see 2 such average sides as WBA and SheffU making up the points,

The third slot though, if Fulham put together a win or two, is there for anyone including us, who falters.

It is a bit 'deja vu'.

Because of our welcome points cushion, few doubt that we will be dragged into the relegation scrap this season and in the last set of games, good news that many teams below us,excluding Brighton, all lost and Burnley may well do likewise against Liverpool tonight.

Excellent score at Villa Park tonight as Villa lead a hopeless Newcastle side 2-0 as Steve Bruce leads their race to the bottom.
