The difference is a huge influx of foreign people to the area over the last 20 years. FACT before lefties shout racist. That can't be a coincidence!!! Turns out the police officer was a foreigner- from as far away as you can get- New Zealand! Nothing racist in what you said - to be expected from the "righties" making political points(or trying to), out of a very sad incident- by all accounts a very nice man- r.i.p.

The news says he arrived in a Police vehicle. Even if he did feign handing himself in somewhere, it seems strange he managed to smuggle a gun into the vehicle. It is reported he was arrested at about 2am acting suspiciously in Croydon, at least one of those who arrested him was a Special Constable. They had searched him and found ammunition but no weapon. Reports suggest the weapon was concealed “ somewhere”.

In fact a few minutes after my last post he has just been named in the press... According to the report the suspect was actually handcuffed to the rear and still was when the shooting occurred which I'm trying to work out could be possible. Matt had played rugby at a very high standard and was head coach at East Grinstead Rugby Club.... RIP mate.

This is appalling, how someone can execute a police officer for doing their job is totally abhorrent. I just hope they survive and are given life without parole. It's a pity we have abolished capital punishment as the murder of Police officers must remain on statute. Make the punishment equal the crime.

I guess this explains why he didn’t manage to kill himself cleanly. I can only guess how the arresting officers feel Such a tragedy, strange echos of the last Dixon of Dock Green. I really feel for you KBLF, it’s just dreadful. He was probably about to have the time of his life too when he retired.

He could of literally retired in December had he wanted to. Being so close to retirement I just hope the job give his Wife his full pension and not a widows pension which is peanuts in comparison.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |
