? I don't drive so I don't notice cars is it a nice one? This is about putting yourself at some risk for others the neighbours didn't have to do this. Good for them.

Dont disagree with your statement at all, BUT, it was a Porche 911(i think). Thats a very expensive car for a young girl to be driving whilst in the Ambulance service. This is NOT a slur on her, your post OR any NHS worker, who are going above & beyond normal duties.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Good on all of those involved with this at CPFC. Maybe it's my red and blue tinted glasses but I think we've conducted ourselves pretty damn well during this pandemic. Long may it continue...our good conduct I mean, not the pandemic. That can F off. Edited by samprior (15 May 2020 12.28pm) Edited by samprior (15 May 2020 12.28pm)

Some touching moments of kindness and goodwill during these tough times.

CBeebies: Channel appoints George Webster as new host - [Link] Saw this in the news and thought it was a nice little story. Good that a talented guy with Down Syndrome is given a pretty visible role on kids TV. It sounds like he's achieved a lot in his life considering the hurdles he's faced (and is a Mencap ambassador), so is a good example of kids tuning in of what can be achieved in life no matter the challenges in your path. When you think about it, people with Down Syndrome are shut out of society to an extent that exceeds their problems. This guy is at least out there doing his part to ensure that people see the person, not just the condition.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Any idea who the interviewer is?
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
