We will no doubt hire a manager not in the supplying Benteke way of thiinking, like with the past 2 managers and how several posters have said isn’t how football is going and target men are dead. Are you one of them? What’s DF advising in all of this? How about Brighty who advised selling Murray?

What happened to using the Zaha sale to evolve the team? What another load of problems we’re going to create.

Parish learning from his mistakes? Are you for a real? This is another example that he isn’t learning at all. There’ll be another manager not using or selecting Benteke so we’ll be paying the wardrobe until 2023 or longer. Absolutely farcical.

Parish is not a football man in any shape or form. He bargains hard, spins PR and hires acquaintant ex employees and friends.

Rudi , I was not a great Parish fan , but when he acknowledged his mistake with Frank so quickly and took action to save us from relegation , I decided he does have the clubs best interests at heart and I am now prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt.
No I don't understand all the decisions made , especially DF , but I am not running the football club and do not know all the in and outs as some people claim to , and I think running a football club may be a bit harder than some people think ,so while we are in the best period of the clubs history I am prepared to carry on and support the club through thick and think the chairman has earned the right for a bit of backing.

Well that’s lovely but having the best interests of the club at heart doesn’t mean:

You know what you’re doing.

You have the right people around you, or what’s going on in discussions between the current mob is sound.

You have learned from mistakes.

What you’ve said about acknowledging mistakes by sacking FDB and hiring Roy has led to further issues, as all of Parish’s corrections do. They’re either very costly and/or prolong the issues and/or create new ones. This Benteke fiasco is another in that trend. Don’t forget this when we’re having issues because the wardrobe is at cpfc until 2023. It’ll have consequences that they’re ignoring or hope go away or pray don’t happen, but they will, you can guarantee it, and it all boils down to him not being able to score a goal.

When we are firing, we can look s*** hot.

When it’s not working, Roy is incapable or unwilling to execute the necessary tactical changes to turn it around.

When it’s not working we are a terribly predictable, utterly boring, completely turgid, unable to create anything coming forward, type of side.

I won’t blame any fan who wont shell out hundreds to go and watch that.

Just to offer a different opinion here -

I am a season ticket holder and have been for some time now. Even pre-dating that I was at least a 5-12 home games a season kind-o-guy and about a third of that away.

I do still love going to football, despite having the necessary technology at home to watch a considerable amount of games these days, and I will continue to go to football matches come rain or shine, divisions, squad, performances etc. as it is my 'thang'.

That being said, I do sympathise with those who are considering relinquishing their season ticket at the moment. It is all rather bleak atm and although it would take a lot more to buckle me, I do understand other's decisions especially those with less convenient circumstances.

There is a fine line however to spitting your dummy out of the pram because we don't win every week and actually no longer enjoying coming because of the current state of things.

I for one will always be the optimistic believer! My only wish is that I be given license to scream at the pitch to the extent I desire, upsets people these days apparently!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Its not the " because we dont win every week " its the lack of effort and the passion and pride and the lack of nouce, tack tics and leadership , the lack of new blood and the selling of our best player not beating our bitter rivals and so called lesser teams .Am i a palace fan yes and i always will be . i dont know about you and your fetish mate but i dont have a dummy to spit out , go see your doctor im sure there is counselling for that sort of thing .

I was not whining about anything. The other guy was because he can't cope with us only coming 12th in the Premier league. We have only done better that that a couple of times in 114 years of trying, so forgive me if I find the belly aching rather precious.

I really don't know what the moaners on here expect. We are punching well above our weight if you consider our fan base and resources against other clubs (including many in the Championship).

That is not to say there could not be ideas to improve but most of the contributions are from people who seem totally negative.

May I respectfully suggest that he is quite entitled to give vent to his feelings on this forum just as many others have done and it's actually your whining without saying anything constructive that we could do without

I wrote "There is a fine line however to spitting your dummy out of the pram because we don't win every week and actually no longer enjoying coming because of the current state of thing" - I was inferring that some may have crossed that line into not actually enjoying coming anymore because of the state of things, therefore should not be confused with anybody spitting their dummy out.

I also stated numerous times that I had sympathy for those not wanting to come any more. Not sure what your on about with fetish either. Maybe you do not understand the true meaning of being a football fan if you are referring to my commitment to the club, or maybe you just need help with reading etc.. there are classes for that.

I am quiet capable of reading mate ! I don't need classes , well maybe one for anger management! I do however know how to spot a s*** stirer . You are the one going on about spitting dummies out . Prob something to do with your child hood I really don't know or care . What you are doing with your dummies is up to you. Now f*** off and leave me alone f***ing peado !
