I say five. From the remaining three, one win (Sheff Utd or Villa), one draw (same), one defeat (Manure).

So, my prediction now stands at 4 with one match to go. Seeing how poor we have been at home, is 1 point from Villa a reasonable guess? If so, my 5 will be spot on. But 7 would be just fab.

The right place at the right time

I don’t like playing the promoted teams at the beginning of the season, as they are all blood and thunder and they haven’t had the stuffing knocked out of them. Looking at those fixtures I fancy 5 points max.

First game Everton, who remembers Jules having an absolute mare against them the last time we met them on the first day of the season?

I’m sticking with 5, bang on schedule....

Same, though I couldn't have really been more wrong with the actual results.

Very fine margin between 2 and 4 so far, with PVA’s winner.

Wouldn't be surprised with a boring 0-0 against Villa...typical Palace with expectations sky high!

I wouldnt agree that expectations are sky high. Id take a scrappy 1 nil win all day long.

Lose against Everton - we'll all be terribly morose and talking doom about the new season..!!

Scrappy draw against Sheffield Utd - we'll all be saying that's our level for the rest of the season.

Beat Manure away - backs to the wall job, whilst Wilf puts on a one man show and rips AWB a new one, AWB brings him down for a pen with 5 to go Milo converts..!!

1-0 to the mighty Palace - we all realise what a great deal £50M was for a player that has played just 42 games - Solskjaer's brave new world at the theatre of screams starts to unravel..!!

Comfortable win win against Villa at home with new signings beginning to bed in..!!

With a what was all the fuss about pre- season and transfer window..!!

So 7 points for me....!!

COYP

I said 7 and also said we’d beat Man U..!!

COYP..!!

I predicted 5, but I’m made up with 7 that is a great return considering we don’t start putting results together until January!!
