The more I witness games with VAR the more worried I am. You can argue that in the end you get the correct decision but even that doesn't always seem to be the case. I dread the prospect of watching games with endless VAR referrals. Hopefully before the next season starts the whole process will be looked at very closely.

VAR is becoming scary, can take 5 minutes to find a "clear and obvious" mistake. Reviewing goals is annoying also, now if your big toe is offside its ruled out.

Even if people aren't into the women's world cup they should definitely watch to see what a disaster VAR turns the game into when taken to the nth degree. Letting play continue on account that they can't make a VAR judgement in real time is a major issue. The amount of times they've allowed play to continue, a goal has been scored, then it's suddenly disallowed because of something that happened 20 seconds ago at the other end of the pitch is becoming farcical. They would limit VAR use to very specific circumstances.

I was a big fan of VAR because it will mean the end of all the injustices you have to just take on the chin every season and couldn't wait for it to be introduced in the Premier League but I'm really worried about the affect it will have on matches this season after watching some of the games in this tournament.

Guess you have to hope the officials here are more trained up on VAR and also don't rely on it for everything which they seem to be doing in this competition. Apart from when the poor ref in the England v Cameroon game was clearly too scared to sent anyone off or just simply bottled it.

It will be dreadful if every time a goal is scored you have to hold back the celebrations until you can see VAR is not being referred to, or worse, waiting until a VAR review has taken place. I have to say from what I have seen so far I'd rather continue with the old VARless system and work on the basis that on occasions things go your way and on occasions they don't - but that in the end it balances itself out.

Since they probably wouldn't dare do it in upper league men's football, I wonder if they are making a deliberate pig's ear of VAR with the aim of making everyone so dissatisfied with the way it (apparently) has to be used that clubs will be crying out for it NOT having to be used.Which nicely let's the refs off the hook.

Englands best performance by far. GK looking decent, sure hands. our CB's can be a bit dodgy but they get great support from the FB's. Centrally we defend well and provide quality support. But its our wide players and White who are why we are going all the way. Never seen an Englishwoman that can finish like White. She knows where to put the ball and gets into good open positions, and England give her the chance she needs. No its not coming home, but i think it might come to England for a while.
