I think we're a bit late to sign him.

Why? Has he signed for someone else now?

He'd certainly need a pretty good agent

All his managers seem to speak well of him..

Didn't help Bournemouth's leaky defence last season, injuries and off the field activities don't make him a good buy at any price. What does Howe mean by "really well" not quite outstanding or made a real difference to the defence.

He was an excellent player for us back in the day. But that was then and now he is just a shadow of that. The injury has robbed him of what was looking like a great career.

Get him on board ASAP - 12 mill for an experienced PL player is a snip. And he is even one of our own - the marathon man that never stopped running!
AWB who?

I was there, the only one I’ve been to. People couldn’t believe that he’d gone on holiday. Bad attitude from the player and looked bad on the club.

It's the choice for me.

Quality player who is going to feel at home......form is temporary, class is permanent.....and 28 is too young for him to have lose pace.

Clyne was a fabulous player for us back in the day but he’s another in his late twenties who is injury prone, has not played consistently for a couple of seasons and looked poor for Bournemouth when on loan.
Bournemouth haven’t followed up on a deal for Clyne which shows their view.
On his recent past I don’t see him as an upgrade to Ward and he doesn’t even have the benefit of being a younger player who could improve in time.
If we’re really looking at the likes of McCarthy, Clyne and Jenkinson it’s a big concern.

Wan Bisska played a blinder for United, whose fans claim they mugged us
