All I got to say is that those who do not learn from history are deemed to repeat it. lol take one Alan Curbishley at Charlton, he got them promoted twice, got them in to middle of the premiership…the fans stared to get on his back and said he had taken them as far as he can and they “deserved” a manager that can play better football and take them up to the next stage and playing on Europe etc… they subsequently made him resign… and they got the mighty Ian dowie to take them the next step…. End result, they got relegated twice.

I will always love that series of events, for a number of obvious reasons! Dowie & the Clowns ... the perfect combo!

Have heard from a very good source, please don’t shoot the messenger, that 4 interviews have taken place for new manager. Make from this what you will but this is an internal contact. It could be BS...but maybe not. The 4 are

Arsene Wenger
Slavisa jokanovic (Fulham manager at start of season)
Sean Dyche
Rafa Benitez.

Who knows.

They interviewed me as well....and I nearly got the job but they wouldn't let me hire my beautiful and highly professional assistant Lucy 'Deep Throat' Loveit.

Ah well...there's always next time....as Lucy tells me.

Two results at the same time; Stirling says to manage the football, and Lucy to manage the Crystals.

Utter bollocks. Why on earth would Parish ditch Roy for Dyche or Wenger? Jokanovic is too big a risk for us right now and Benitez would never come to us over the clubs reportedly in for him. Also all too expensive and too independent for Parish's tastes

Roy has another season in his contract and is going to not only save the team (the main task he was asked to) but to finish midtable.
Hence, he will be the manager next season.
