I think we would stand a better chance if he wasn’t starting today. I want to get him, Tekkers and Sorloth in a car and drive them off a cliff!

His lack of confidence showed in the first half when he got in behind the defence and ran away from the goal thus reducing his shooting angle (to save his blushes he was called offside) and then when Townsend laid it on a plate and he side-footed it like a gentle six-inch golf putt.
Doesn't look like he wanted to be here at all. Rumours that he refused to train to force a deal didn't sound good. Maybe he expected to be top striker here and clearly hasn't worked out. Not sure what assurances the club gave him as regard this.

Not sure what assurances the club gave him as regard this. It was reported that he just never reported for pre-season training at Swansea so he wasn't part of what Swansea were trying to do under new manager Graham Potter. At our club he has of course been very disappointing and looks as happy as Mourinho did at Man Utd.

Personally, I've not seen anything from Ayew at either Palace or his former clubs to suggest he has premier League quality, but in fairness to the lad a lot has been said about his 'bad' attitude and he always looks like he tries hard to me and is disappointed with himself when substituted.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Ayew' by bexleydave May be shot down in flames but thought he played yesterday as if he was after a contract Maybe it was the south Wales air was what he needed but distinct signs of improvement bit late this season but was good to see.Good to see Colin get great support from the cardiff faithful he's done really well to keep them in the hunt for so long with total lack of quality Made us look like barca at times Answered my own question is that why ayew looked good

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Ayew' by bexleydave I don't think we should sign Ayew, but playing two very mobile strikers who can rotate with Wilf and Andros in the wide positions might be a strategy to plan for. We looked really fluid yesterday.

Good squad player in my opinion if cheap as he is quite versatile. The serious money needs to be spent on the chap who is going to put it in the net though.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Ayew' by bexleydave if he is cheap enough and wages low could be ok, never first team regular but ok for 15 games a season, it was great to see 4 mobile attacking players on the pitch, first time the season, hope it continues.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Ayew' by bexleydave Id take him no problem as a squad player if he was cheap enough. He actually cares and looks to me like he tries his heart out every game. He puts himself about, gets stuck up and makes a nuisance and he has the odd moment of magic. There are always certain types of games where he could come in handy.
