Well done on your win yesterday, a fantastic result.

A good result for your team, beating Notts Co 4-0, your 4th win in your last 6 league games.
I note that Harry Davis scored - a player who has come back from a serious knee injury and has forged a reputation for scoring from set-pieces.Son of erstwhile Crewe manager Steve Davis.

You come up with some funny stuff, Willo. Regular odd trivia.

Does anyone know how many we've sold for this? looks like Grimsby are bringing 5000+
Hopefully there'll be some walk ups on the day and others buying between now and the weekend.

Their average home gate this season is around 4,600.

They did get nearly 6,000 yesterday in their 1-0 defeat against high-flying Mansfield.

All I can say is the singing section looks pretty full. I would guess around 700. So in theory this should be a noisy affair.

Well that's good news, I hope its good in that area. I guess the full results will be seen during a league game but Saturdays game should be a good start!

I've got my ticket and am looking forward to it. It's a bit of a relief to attend a match where vital points aren't at stake.

For me the pros of an FA Cup run are:

Weekends are put aside for the FA Cup up to and including the 5th round, so, unless you progress further you won't be playing extra midweek games (unless there are replays).

Secondly, I think most supporters enjoyed our run to the final 3 years ago (and 29 years ago) and would love a repeat of that.

Also, as I intimated above, there is less tension surrounding a cup game, unless it is the semi-final or final. And, you may also get to play sides you wouldn't be meeting in the league.

Finally, I came to the sport in the 1960s when winning the cup was as big a deal as winning the league, and I have not enjoyed seeing its decline, and still think it is a great competiton.

My only concerns are injuries, and a fixture backlog if you do progress to the quarters and beyond.

Hi I'm looking forward to coming to selhurst Park. I've always wanted to watch a game at selhurst as the atmosphere seems the best in the Premier league.
A couple of questions

Is the view at the back of the away stand that bad?

Seem as we have sold 3709 of the 4100 we where issued do you think we will receive more tickets.

Thanks

Hope you enjoy your day (but not too much!!). Feel free to use the fanzone prior to the game, away fans welcome but if it is raining don't bother as there is no roof. Any questions about the ground etc please feel free to ask.

Wish I'd stuck a fiver on you, especially after you went 1-0 down.

Thanks although gone a bit pear-shaped since. Well done on selling so many tickets. Enjoy the trip

What about parking we're coming by car and was wondering what parking is like near the ground. Or would you advise parking at a train station somewhere and catching the train to Thornton Heath or Norwood Junction?

As an exiled-to-Lincoln Palace supporter, I now have a season ticket at Lincoln City, so have seen a few games v Grimsby. Grimsby support is strong & vocal and should bring energy to Selhurst Park in a way that some Premiership clubs don't. Grimsby should be respected by Palace; they will be determined and well supported and they are on a good run including beating one of league Two's better sides, Exeter, on Saturday despite being down to 10 men. Having said that: Come on Palace!

Hi Harry I usually drive and parking is available on the streets around the ground, but gets filled up quite fast closer to the ground. The parking near the high street will be pay and display so what I would recommend would be park on the side of the ground in your homeward direction and walk about 3/4 of a mile. If you get there early you can park closer to the ground but obviously getting away can be slower.
