Ayew was left out of the squad last night, read in to that what you will, but with only a few days left for us to do business I have an inkling that this deal might not be dead. Swansea’s top scorer, he performed well in a very poor team and is no doubt coming in to the prime age for strikers. Plenty of experience in the league and loads of versatility, this signing would be really big.

Wowwwwww “this signing might be really big” What a statement. Average player who is hot and cold. I’ve seen him play well but he has also been in two relegated teams (read into that what you will). Would he get in over Townsend and Zaha, no. Squad player at best and probably replacing Sako

Andros has been relegated, so has Jimmy Mac, so has Scott Dann and so has Zaha so ‘read in to that what you will’. It doesn’t mean anything, he is quality he showed consistentcy when Carvalhal was first appointed and his good form coincided with Swansea’s great run of results in the middle of the season, he still scored more than any of our forwards in a poor team that created few chances. At the moment we have Schlupp out wide on one side, with next to no cover, Ayew is an upgrade on Sako and Lee and is more than capable of pushing our attacking players and offering cover, cover that we are seriously lacking. Kaikai is nowhere near the level required, Ayew is.

Football is one of opinions and I respect yours. I just have to completely disagree with you. Ayew has been relegated twice in two seasons. For me, whether we get Ayew or we don’t, I’m not bothered either way. Personally I think Antonio is a better option or I would have taken a punt on Musa from Leicester. I will agree that KaiKai is not the answer.

Leicester would have probably asked more from a fellow PL club. The good news is that Leicester is really weakened and is a contender for relegation this year

I expect them to be in the midtable along with us.

Now they've sold Mahrez and brought in Ghezzal. Similar player, but not quite the same thing. Rest team is pretty much the same, so they should be just above the relegation zone. But if Vardy has an injury (don't wish it but it might happen) or if he goes through bad periods of not svoring, they might be in for a lot of trouble, even if a couple of squads like Huddesrfield or Cardiff do look worse.

Also having McGuire chased by Man U, so may well lose him. I actually mostly agree with Matteo on this, think they will be bottom 6 at best this year. Also have always been a fan of Ahmed Musa, thought he would do more when he got his move to Leicester and a better player than he currently looks.

He looks pretty good, but he caouldn't shine if they hardly played him at all. Don't understand why -shrug-, cause Okazaki's legs are old and they don't really have Musa's workrate and quality anywhere.
