Watford have an extensive European network, Burnley work within their local area. I never get the impression we have a strategy. Feels like we just sign players that are offered to us by agents, hence why they're always linked to loads of clubs of similar stature. Sure I'm talking s***, but that's just how it comes across!
Agree think we are usually just panicking at the end of the window.

A rather sanctimonious view, he isn't the first football employee to move for more money and certainly wont be the last, its par for the course in the football world. He was appointed a few weeks before the last window, so unfair to judge him. He has a track record of finding decent players for us, most of the team that got us promoted.

Jach?

We paid peanuts for Jach. He is young and perhaps one for the future. It is very rare these days to buy someone for around a mil that can walk straight into a prem 1st team. As for Rakip it was a loan deal to have a close look at him. No one knows the full terms of the loan or whether we have a buy clause. Again he is young and represented his country at youth level. So it would be reasonable to assume he offers something. Have you seen either of them play? Perhaps best to pass judgement once you have. Edited by Bexley Eagle (25 Apr 2018 10.24pm)

A whole load of good posts, I always think we should have balance in the squad and cover based on our gameplan Keepers: Guaita, Hennessey, Speroni Both Dann and Sakho seem injury prone, if possible I'd replace Dann with an up and coming from the championship. As I think someone else said, the important signng in Roy. Parrot

Edited by Bexley Eagle (25 Apr 2018 10.24pm) I’ll go with what Roy thinks , which has been to not give either of them a minutes football even though we have had “the worst injuries at any club during my career”, Roy’s words not mine.
