Good half from us and great defending. Hennessy has not had to do anything. Wilf for me has been quiet though. If he wakes up in the second half they will be in trouble.

We dominated the 1st half, taken the lead and never really looked under threat...I dont like it...

i am feeling much bromance for Tomkins.... he looks a bit hairy, but its all asking for a big hug.

He didn't look fit at all at Chelsea I thought. Fit as in not injured any more.

I don't think he's ready to be back but he wants to be playing and we need him whether at his best or not

Very squeaky bum time especially the last 15 mins but we have a lead. Roy can now give the new instructions needed with Cabaye coming on and hopefully we can hold out and maybe score another (in their net of course). At home I think we were a goal down at half time and almost hit an equaliser except for a very good save by their keeper.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

He could be just pacing himself. We have to assume he will play the whole game...and has been missing for weeks. Tomkins has been incredible so far...We just don’t seem to be able to hold the ball! Not sur if this is our tactic and catch them on the break?

Got to start strong in the second half...

Good half. Benteke has done very well, as has Tomkins. Both sides have been pretty wayward with some of their possession. Much better than our first half last week let's keep it up.

Need to up the tempo early 2nd half. If we score next think we can see this out. With only 1 goal really squeaky bum time as we eased off way too much after the goal and they could well make us pay if we continue this. COYP !!

Decent half for us, defending well but giving the ball away too easily in midfield. Townsend and MacArthur the culprits here. Tekkers playing really well just needs to score. Wilf looks uncharacteristically hesitant at times.
