I'm still vegry jealous when I see Murray scoring goals at this level and wish we still had him at Palace but as much as it was a big mistake letting him go (in hindsight), at the time it was probably too good a deal for a 30+ year old that Bournemouth offered us.

Some decisions pay off and some turn out to be the wrong one.

Agreed,hindsight is a wonderful thing!!
Such a shame though that we have spent well in excess of £40 m to replace Glenn who scores goals for fun and his very expensive replacements have managed precisely 3 goals in the league between them last season.

He was great for us in the Championship, but then that injury in the playoffs happened. When he did eventually comeback, he was never the same player for us. He was given time in the side, but struggled to make an impact in the Premiership. He was told he wouldn’t be first choice, as he had done nothing, so wished to leave to find first team football.
He went to Bournemouth did nothing, then Reading on loan with a little success. Then Brighton took a chance on him and it clicked for him.
Blaming Parish and Pardew is ridiculous, they gave him a chance and he didn’t deliver, then wanted to leave. What had Parish and Pardew done wrong?

Wickham should be ashamed to collect a wage every week, just fcku off and let us free up some wages for someone who actually wants to play football.

Isn't that what the army does with wounded veterans?

Wow!!

You can't keep a good man down.
Murray back today after bad knock last week and yet again, scores and secures the points for the Albion.
As we face yet another battle against relegation this season, have strikers in name only,a total inability to score,an imminent thrashing tomorrow, probably in Parish selling Murray, the biggest mistake of his period of tenure, would you not agree.
How could we do with Glenn in our squad now.

Parish really must be feeling so stupid selling Glenn now and for what amounts to small change. What a foolish decision probably engineered by the decisive Pardew.
Scored his sixth goal today in ten games, taking him to the second highest scorer in the Premiership, achieving today his 100th goal for Albion alone.
As another thread states, the Club has so far paid out in excess of £47m to replace Glenn and to date, has failed to do so,replacing him with injury prone, misfiring duds, who have not scored a single goal between them this particular season.Quite unbelievable!!
