He did play well, but both of our keepers have had very good isolated performances this season. We need someone to do it consistently. He hasn't done bad in the league for a while although, just like any other position, I'd like an upgrade to the best we can afford.

I think Wayne had a good game today looks like the new goal keeper coach is getting him to work. In my humble opinion I reckon we should stick with our two keepers until the summer . I think that GK from Spain guatier or what ever his name is is too expensive for a 31 year old . Save your money Steve and splash for a younger investment in the summer.

Wayne's last four Premier League starts have resulted in 3 clean sheets, one goal conceded and eight points. Not all down to him of course but it just shows the difference a decent defence can make to a keeper's performance.

The media have reported his fee to be around £4m which I don’t think isn’t too expensive for a top class, Premier league keeper & at 31, he still has maybe 5years at his peak.

We’d be buying a player who should be in his prime. Good time to buy a player. Especially as we’d be looking to install him straight into the first team.
