All about money with the F.A. Everton and or their player will get fined, or both. More money in the F.A,s coffers for the Christmas pi$$ up. But, Palace we get naff all. What is the point in having this " diving ban" or whatever they want to call it when the club suffering from the consiquenses of said offences get ziltch. There's justice for ya, pi$$ take.

Another point to note: if the dive was spotted by the ref in the first place he would have got a yellow for simulation, then would have been sent off for the second yellow he received... did he get that before or after he scored?

10 mins before. And that's only counting the yellow card he got, not the ones he deserved.

Obviously that wouldn't work if he were sold before his next two games against us, but it could work better for us than his being banned for his next two prem. games, especially if W Ham were to beat Everton in Niasse's absence Would a two game ban be a ban from premiership games only, or does it include FA Cup and League Cup games? If it's the latter types of game (i.e. not prem. games), then a two game ban could be of minimal impact to Everton's (top six?) aspirations.
probably not. - we only play 2 games vs each team per season, I see no benefit if the offender has to miss a game next season.

Maybe the Sunday Times will be forced to rescind the ‘Man of the Match’ rating they gave him.

That ref was never going to issue an Everton player with two cards. After all, for most of the game he seemed to get his hand stuck in his pocket even when just one card was called for.

How would you feel if we lost the replayed game? Of course I would not be happy, as I am with any game we lose, but at least we would be given another chance in this instance the results stands come what may. It is really about time that video ref were introduced to football, like Rugby, especially so at the top levels as the financial loss is potentially catastrophic if we are relegated because of the two points we have lost in this game!

I hope he gets a three match ban. At least that would be a signal to players to stop f*cking diving. Given he's Everton's leading goal scorer and they are also conceding lots I imagine any suspension will be a big blow for them. I would love for us to be awarded the three points, but then what would the other teams around us say? I imagine they would start digging instances of injustices in their games and before you know it would all get very messy.

I've never seen it described as a nominal fee anywhere in the media but as you're obviously in the know can you tell us exactly how much it was?

All this does is once again highlight the absurdity of not having a video ref. It is scandalous that this system is not already in place. We were robbed of 3 points by a cheat and his fine and ban after the event does nothing to alleviate that.
