And Kember for raising our hopes, then letting it slide

And Bruce for getting us dreaming, then smashing it up and fcking off
.

We played some of the best football I've even seen us play while he was in charge.

I remember going up to Wolves and beating them 1-0, I believe that result took us top of the league. The walk back to the coach was interesting.

Ok. So if we are ignoring Mullery then HAS to be Peter Taylor

Some of the players seemed to be unhappy at being played out of their preferred position but how are you going to find out whether people like Townsend and Milivojevic would make decent wing backs or central defenders without playing them there. If you're suggesting that a couple of games as a central defender ruined Milivojevic to the extent that he was even later poor when back in his preferred position he must be mentally weak.

He allegedly told Delaney and Kelly that they weren't good enough for the first team which, shock horror, is something that all of us already knew and which Kelly later confirmed when recalled to the first team by being directly responsible for giving away a couple of goals.

Pity you were asleep when we were discussing what toon fans thought of Pardew when he came here. They invented the term and it's bl**dy accurate. And no, it doesn't mean "played out of position", it means good players whose performance has declined because of various aspects of poor management. I don't think that these players' performances declined because they were played out of position in a couple of friendlies. Their performances declined because they were playing for a manager who was f***ing s***. Exactly what happened here under Pardew and exactly what happened at Newcastle under the same manager. The key point is that it then takes time for the players to get back up to their previous level when the useless manager gets the boot and a new one comes in (Hodgson, Allardyce and Benitez respectively).

Hodgson has only in the last couple of weeks managed to get performances that look as though the damage has been repaired, and it took Allardyce a couple of months to make the Pardew rubbish look respectable again.

That is what "pardewed" means.

Paul hart did a good job in very difficult times, we owe a lot to him

That made me smile as I was one of the few that was nervous about his appointment due to what the Toon fans had said about him but was shouted down by the vocal majority on here who told me that the Geordies were a bunch of whingeing ******** who didn't know what they were talking about.

Incidentally Newcastle were 10th in the league when Pardew left to join us so they weren't doing too badly

I thought they were just whining. And they were dead right.

I remember that game, great memory. I think that's what upset me more about Bruce leaving. After Kirovski goal we spent the rest of the game chanting Bruce's name.

How can people say De Boer? He wasn’t given a fair chance to show if he was the worst or best manager we ever had. You cannot say a guy who had 4 league games, and in the last one we were insanely unlucky not to win, is the worst ever. Also benteke should have scored against Liverpool. Has to be Mullery followed closely by Burley.

Frank De Boer , was and is sh**
He will never manage in the English game again
thats how BAD he was / is and forever will be

Lets promote pardew to manage Real Madrid. And watch their confidence , enthusiasm and hunger all wither on the branch.

Zidane seems to be doing this all by himself this season.

I refuse to Give Francis any credit for AJ.
AJ was used as a makeweight for the Transfer of (was it Clinton Morrison ?), becuase Birmingham couldn't afford the fee up front

I disengage, I turn the page.
