WHO gets it's first African leader, he appoints an African to a prestigious role.

Funnily enough he was the only candidate to be leader who isn't a doctor. You might think he was appointed for some other reason...

Mugabe is the World's most educated political leader with 18 degrees.

You see everyone? There are still those on the left that think Mugabe is great! What did he major in - how to bankrupt a country in record time or advanced persecution of gays, or a hundred and one ways to intimidate white farmers?

Most of them as dubious as his wife's.

If we're playing Mugabe trivia though... My favourite one is that he is a Cliff Richard fan.

Optimistic as ever

His surname spelt backwards is a tribute to his love of Yorkshire Pudding.

You'd struggle to get the 4 ingredients to make it out there.

Mugabe got rid of white rule.

His people have their dignity and are not slaves any more.

Oh yes, I'm sure some Lefty will be naming a street after him or erecting a statue in the future.

He did, and replaced it with a dictatorship.

The people of Zimbabwe do not have dignity and are enslaved and impoverished by him and his policies. The good news is their life expectancy levels are almost back to the level they were when Mugabe first came to power in the 80s. Don't worry about the fact most other countries have had large increases over that period of time though...

But in what way did he liberate them. Don't get me wrong, white rule had to end, but they were reduced in doing so by becoming 'what they opposed' - oppressive and brutal regime, that used force of arms and violence to dominate.

They swapped white masters for black ones.

How bad was it, well it was so bad in Zimbabwe that black refugees sought asylum in apartheid South Africa - and the White Government of South Africa granted them. That's how bad Mugabe's regime was / is, White South Africa thought they were unfairly oppressed.

Which suggests he spent far longer studying than trying to rule the country.

I expect the older among 'his people'look back at Smith's rule as a golden age compared to the misery and indignities inflicted on them by Comrade Mugabe.
