If we win our next three games, in theory we could be in the top half. One up, two to go and then another 30 ish games. If we play like that every game we will fly up the table. Astonishing turnaround. So unexpected. Well done.

just read lot of the predictions on here and theres alot of humble pie tobe eaten, also between 3 fans you would have cleaned up at the bookies there was a 2-1 win 2-1 lose with own goal and zaha to score do all combos loads of dosh onwards and upwards COYP

I've been placing lay bets on Palace for every league game this season and am (obviously) quids in. My logic in doing so is that if the boys win, I won't care about losing the bet, but when they don't win at least there's some monetary compensation. I will be doing so again today. Last time I looked the price for a lay bet on Palace was 8.2. This means if you stake £10 and Palace lose or draw, you win £10 less commission. If they win, you would lose £72 (I think I've got that right haven't I, Michaela?) It actually surprises me how easy it is to get a lay bet on at all, given that 'the guy on the other side of the deal' is by definition backing Palace to win. Away to Man Utd for example, with half a team - I don't think so! Yes correct. You are in theory the bookie. You take their tenner and keep it if we lose. If we win you have to 'pay out' and therefore lose £72 or whatever according to the odds.

Supporting Palace has brought many of us to our knees. Edited by YT (15 Oct 2017 9.17am) £100 on Chelsea to return £144. Palace opened the scoring and the cash out was £50 odd quick. Do I stick or twist. The way we were playing and the way Chelsea looked flat in that split second I though I have a bad feeling about my money and I switched if. £50 odd quid at 2.57 on palace. Thought it was sunk when Chelsea equalised quickly as there was no option to rescue the cash. Couldn't watch the last 5 mins. They put us under immense pressure. Do I cash out do I wait. Held my nerve. But my poor heart. Can't go through that again. Time to withdraw my winnings (did Tottenham and man city as Well ) and spend it . No idea what to spend it on. Not used to having a lot of money
