I think you have a twisted understanding of what equality means. Equality literally means judging people fairly and on their merits; not on whose v***** they emerged from.

Well, to determine things like this we would have to look at specific examples.

Off the top of my head, where do you stand on say....equal prize money between the sexes for tennis winners?

Maybe this is a good way to see how we view these two different concepts of equality and fairness.

I love how your first club out of the bag is about physicality.

There's not equal prize money between men's tournaments - it's based on the revenue they generate. If a women's tournament was to draw the same revenue as a men's tournament, then the players would get the same prize money.

Here's what I mean. If I and a female colleague - of the same age and experience - bring in the same sales numbers, should she make 70% of what I make?

Norway's men's and women's football team are on equal pay. The men even took a bit of a pay cut.

We can move onto other areas if you like but physicality is an obvious area of difference between men and women as nature cares nothing about equality.

All the tennis majors pay equal prize money between the sexes. A large chuck of their revenue comes from TV deals.

Yet more people view male tennis matches.

Viewing figures for Wimbledon 2015 finals:

UK (BBC)

Wimbledon men’s final (BBC) – 9.2m viewers

Wimbledon ladies’ final (BBC) – 4.3m viewers

US (ESPN)

Men’s final most viewed day, despite no representatives from US and Serena competing the day before. 24.4m live minutes viewed – the most ever for a single day of tennis

Australia (Channel Seven)

Wimbledon men’s final– 1.2m viewers

Wimbledon ladies’ final – 700k viewers

Prize money should be more evenly distributed based on viewing figures.

At women-only events female players are paid significantly less compared with similar sized men's events. I have zero problem with players of any gender being paid their commercial worth.

Here, I present to you a clear difference between equality and fairness.

England women are paid and the men aren't.

The men do get a match fee of around £1,500 or they did a few years back. Not sure if that has changed.

In this day and age, shouldn't there be a transgender final? The call for new balls might cause confusion though.

I cut you off here, because the rest is irrelevant. If you want to judge someone's value based on their ability to open a jar of spaghetti sauce, then that's your prerogative. It's still wrong though.

Does Stephen Hawking have value in our society? He can't even wipe his own arse let alone hit a tennis ball.

The poster child in this area is the US Women's National Soccer team. They have won a world cup and have drawn the largest US TV audience for a national team's match - men's or women's - ever. They regularly draw bigger viewership than the men's team and have enjoyed far greater success.

Still, regardless of fairness and meritocracy, until they filed an equal opportunities lawsuit last year, they used to be paid a quarter of what the men got. They won the dispute and got a raise, but they still earn less than the men despite being more successful and more of a ratings draw.

You cut me off because there are numerous obvious examples where we have equality without fairness.

Your point about Hawking is a huge strawman.

You obviously don't like it when the facts hurt your feelings.
