If we're going to protest against Chelsea, surely it should be about them buying everyone in the world that's any good to loan them out.

A protest near the start of a match we are very likely to lose anyway? That bodes well for the final scoreline. The facts are there for anyone to see ... nil points and nil goals after 7 or 8 games ... meaning we're uncompetitive and well below par. The Board and players don't need to hear boos and see empty seats to know that. Yes, some of the blame falls on the shoulders of Parish who must realise now he needs to let other individuals do their jobs and manage the club's business properly. The dream is over unless Parish and co come to the rescue with shed loads of money to invest in January and Roy can motivate his team of losers to win some points in the meantime. The time to protest (if one has to?) is if that fails to happen.

Boo hoo. We're struggling in the premier league. Didn't see us protesting when we struggled in the championship. The premier league really has brought with it the most distasteful bunch of over-expectant 'fans'. Orient had reason to protest last season. Blackpool and our friends at Charlton have reason to protest. We, quite frankly, don't. It's been a poor start, a dreadful start but protesting?! Get a grip!

Yeah a protest is gonna really help the boys isn't it. Why not try and support the team instead.

We have lost all seven league games this season without scoring a single solitary goal and are currently the laughing stock of the footballing world. The media is awash with stories about our continual cock ups yet you claim that we have no reason to protest. Unbelievable

It is not unbelievable at all. It's tragic that the new breed of premier league fans feel that losing warrants a protest. Owners rinsing a club for cash, threatening their very existance, that requires protest. Protesting at Lloyds that time was spot on. Losing games doesn't require protesting. Some of you lot have become spoilt. Edited by laddo (05 Oct 2017 12.09pm)

don't worry about the stories the media are awash with. they are purely followers of direction. things go badly, they look for reasons and ignore anything good. things go well, the inverse. if Chelsea finish 3rd this year, the media tone will be "the little things and seeds of discord that caused it". will Chelsea be much different to last year? no. If we win a couple of games, they'll narrate Hodgson as a hero and Parish's bravery in hiring him. it's just...almost without meaning
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

'Expecting' a logical manager choice and choice of football direction bearing in mind results that had just happened and the last time we tried less change after similar results had just happened is not being spoilt. Do I think we should protest? No. Do I think it's best Parish leaves? No. Do I think it's best he doesn't make football decisions? Yes. Do I think the leader he should do is listen to and act on virtually all the advice the football people give him? Yes. Is Freedman that person? Maybe in the championship. Higher? I'm not that impressed he was here about 10 days and there was no impression made on Parish that we should get a striker. If there was, it wasn't enough, and therein lies the problem with ex Palace men. Parish doesn't like to be told what doesn't fit with what he wants to prioritise.

Sorry but for the chelsea game we need a huge banner venting our anger at the owners, a silence or walk out after 7 minutes (7 games lost so walk out on 7 minutes), we have american BILLIONAIRE investors who can afford to get in the likes of ronaldo, kane, costa etc..... so we can achieve mid table finishes season after season, but no we only have one fit striker which they have clearly known about for months, i thought under pardew we played possibly the best football in the clubs history and he would of kept us up comfortably in the end albeit a bit of a blip we had under him, but no we seem to get rid of every manager who brings us a bit of stability. But no the board seems to worry more about ales, pies and plastic armchair fans coming in. Ive only been supporting palace for three years but enough is enough. Also promoting half and half scarfs needs to be looked at as im not happy buying one with the opposition teams name on it, OUR ANGER CLEARLY NEEDS TO BE VENTED. Even though I've given well deserved criticism on here I've been giving real life vocal support that dwarfs that of plenty around me. Quite frankly the support for a while has been really pathetic. And that's fans from the championship times. Only now when the team have no striker l so little to aim for and little pattern of play am I possibly going to join in the silence that started just after Bolasie got injured. We're in a position where they need our support but fans may need a lift, but without any threat going forward or scorers in the team till possibly 4 games time.

Maybe we could start cheering each time Chelsea score. Like we did when we lost to Liverpool 5-0 at anfield in the second leg CCC at back in the early 2000's.
"We love you Palace, we f@cking hate Man U, We love you Palace, we hate the brighton too, We love you Palace we play in red 'n' blue, so f@ck you, and you ... |
