That on its own is an excellent reason for not doing this stupid thing.

I don't know about anyone else, but the thing that makes me the most angry about our current situation is that it was totally avoidable.

But of course it being Palace, we spend our 5th consecutive season in the Premier looking like out of our depth novices.

I had no ambition to go to the '' the next level ''. A season without too much angst and a mid table finish and I would have been delighted.

As I have said before, take the ' club saviour ' element out of it, forget about his current level of ownership and ask yourself if our Chairman is running the club in a satisfactory way and is deserving of his £650k pa salary. He's starting to make Charles Horton at Southern Trains look good.

Clearly I'm writing this seething from yet another humiliation on the pitch, but Steve Parish needs to man up and accept that his actions look like undoing all of his previous hard work.

It would be fraudulent of me to pretend I know any of the mechanics of running a football club and although I can't see how Parish out in any sense of the matter makes sense surely the man or other powers that be must be rethinking his position?

Our problem clearly seems to be poor management and from a fairly ignorant view of matters as previously mentioned I would say it was due to decisions being made by people who quite simply don't know too much about football?

A poor playing side with no noteworthy investment and cringe worthy, ludicrous footballing fantasies have left us a laughing stock. We have finally managed to get to the foreseen position of no leadership, structure, coherence or passion on and off the field!

Get real - OK Parish made a mistake in appointing FDB he has admitted as much. I would say to all who think like you....Parish and Co saved the club 6 years ago. Without them we could have dropped into obscurity

Lets all get behind Roy and the lads...Eagles!!!

The statement in bold is 100% correct , it happened , FDB was disaster , now we should all just get behind the club.

Football and the art of the emotive overstatement after defeat.

There should be awards given out at the end of the season.....as we will obviously have so many to choose from.

It was 7 years ago, I'm fooking bored with that same tired excuse being trotted out every time someone dares question saint Steve and his recent shambolic running of this club.

Banners are childish but I completely get where the OP is coming from, people are getting a bit sick of how this club has been run and because they dare to question their he hierarchy they get ridiculed

Today I will be boasting my huge 2ft by 8ft banner with a big fat 'Enough is enough, 'Parish out'

Time has come

Grade A Mug alert ...

But didn't we make the exact same mistake one season previously and ended up surviving from miraculous results towards the end?

FdB was a disaster but from a footballing knowledge I saw that coming but still would be more forgiving had we not seen it all before and even groaned then!!

Well said PP. I will always support every Palace player and official without question. To me that is the nature of a Palace Supporter. I may believe some are better than others but I assume each does their best unless I have proof otherwise.

It looks like Parish feels he has made some mistakes. In that case presumably he is learning. At least we are still in the game, early in the season and in the Premier League. Being Premier League is overachieving in my book given our finances, fan base and history.

Let those who have never made a mistake at work cast the first stone eh!

There is a problem with said mistakes.

When he said he's correcting them, you cannot correct anything with Carlton Cole.

Parish will never stop trying to sign players in the 30 minutes.

We will need to be relegated for parish to learn.

He will still sign players for areas we're very short in too late.

He hasn't learnt. These mistakes are repeats.

Fair do's. Thought you were on a bit of a wind-up. I was wrong. But are you really serious about the placard/poster? Don't think you will get many agreeing even though it appears plenty now agree that he is not really up to the job to do it without serious help and not just from Dougie.

What was Freedman doing in the week leading up to deadline day and the result of no striker?

Agreeing Parish with a yes and a yes more?

Hoping that a year later he'd have his mitts on the team in the championship?
