It was Parish that hired and then fired a manager after 3 games.

And I think he has been given credit for the good work that he has done.

We all have our own opinions about how the club should be run, but ex-players, journalists and pundits alike - the so-called experts in other words - have all criticised the way its currently being run.

It was Steve Parish himself that said we should forget the past and stop the small club mentality but we seem to be reverting to type which is a shame in our 5th consecutive year in the Premier.

Hi Neillo,
Yes Parish has admitted his error over Frank hopefully he has now rectified it.
You know I know, to move to a comfortable position in this league takes ages.

Played 2 wingers Possee and Rogers for a few games on the wing.
We got relegated.!!!!!
Agreed the one striker situation is poor is it to do with the reported £80 million wage bill.?

We agreed terms with Everton and Niasse.

Why did we extend Delaney if we need to cut our cloth?

Why were we taking on changes with Frank that needed more than the 2-3 mentioned when Sam was here? Dyche was available.

Not a lot of it makes sense these days. It's clanger the repair since the week after the cup final.

The problem may be compounded in Jan if we are cut adrift with Tekkers not firing and Wickham just coming back. Suspect we will be looking for somebody from the Championship or some short term loanee from abroad.

I suspect that if we are 'Cut adrift' in January we won't spend big to try and keep us in the PL.

Was he ?
He was and is very much Burnley's manager.

If things don't improve even Championship players aren't going to want to come here

With ME posting we were now maybe 'lucky' to have Wilf at the club.!!!!

I said that we were lucky that we had Wilf at the club which is a somewhat different meaning and represented what I was referring to as serendipity or a happy accident

I think Steve Parish should look on the bright side.

At the moment he is well on his way to fulfilling his ambition of taking Palace to: "The next level."

The Spammers fans talked about this when they picked up a diamond in the rough in the shape of Payet. That evaporated very quickly. You need the personnel to do this. Also telling everybody that this is what you are going to do ie. make a change and employ somebody with a clear way of playing probably isn't the best option. Need to keep your cards close to your chest. Way too obvious otherwise.

Broke down over Agents fees I believe.

Presume agreed with Sam.Strange one that and Jonny Williams.

As Willo said not privy to that .I thought you wanted the guy that went to Watford.?
Did you want both.?

We are Crystal Palace and not Man Utd, sacking Managers after a Cup Final.
Surely the idea is to get as high in your League as possible and try to win a Cup.?

We are. But we are not fortunate to have the long list of errors in the last 18 months+, many being obvious, probably about to relegate us.

It was within our control. That's the irritation. I can take being relegated because it's us, or just happens or was going to happen at some point, but that's not the case. It's a sequence of wtf moves and decisions.

Well the changes in Managers has not helped.
Only one of them was down to Parish as I see it.All the others were the Managers decisions other than Pardew who you wanted out earlier.
Its going to be very difficult but lets hope we stay up.
