I'm very happy to have Roy,a born and bred Croydon gentleman,no airs and graces. His Mum used to live near my mum in Bywood Avenue.

That last point seals it for me, Roy it is.

If hodgson is appointed I will vote with my feet and stop going - for a while anyway.
What is the point of appointing a has been?
De Boer should still be our Manager!
If anyone should take over I would prefer Dougie to Hodgson.
Bloody joke!

For years the charm of Palace for me is that we're not Chelsea or City, buying ourselves a title. We're not Accrington Stanley, people have heard of us. We're just this funny little unpredictable team that could beat Barcelona one week and lose to someone's nan the week after.

Nothing's changed. Everyone's laughing at us again and I don't care. Up the Palace.

In the words of my late grandfather "what about the Palace eh?" - always true.

"what about the Palace eh?" Bless him.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

I suspect he will adopt a very defensive system, with the full backs playing in their designated positions and not wondering off and Cabaye & Luka patrolling the midfield with hopefully the latter back to his old "mind yer legs" days.
He will try and play traditional wingers putting in crosses to Benteke.
A bit Sam like.
I will be pleased to have Ray Lewington back, but would be equally happy if Sammy says.

Following Palace since 25 Feb 1978

I'd take getting pardew back over hodgson. Actually I'd take pretty much anyone over hodgson.
