No it isn't, it's just you and your ilk.

Oh and the club did go into liquidation by the way, remember the administrator being appointed and the points deduction, or doesn't your connection with Palace go back that far?

He probably remembers last season when Pardew was given a must win game against Southampton - which he did. That win set us back weeks.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

At the end of the day SP and the board thought they were making the right decision ... it didnt work out .. so FDB has got his marching orders .... a football club is like any other business.
I dont care if a one legged, patch-eyed, deaf person is hired to be manager as long as they can get us to start winning and stop leaking goals and put smiles back on the face of fans and players alike.
Nuff said.

All of our former managers had a personality clash with Parish it has been claimed.

Had we appointed Marco Silva or shown enough ambition to keep Sam interested or Pulis happy, we would not be replacing a manager after 4 games. Maybe even signing Sakho in time to have him ready for the start of the season would have done the trick.

Sakho was injured

I think it's all farcical and a bit of a shambles. However it's probably for the best it happens now. At the start of the season and a replacement comes in (as it appears to be happening) immediately. Chalk it up to experience. Admit it was a mistake and wrong and quickly move on.

For heaven's sake let's get behind the new manager without all the usual moaning. Lots of people complaining they don't want Roy. Who else could we realistically get. Can't imagine too many people want the job here to be honest. Get behind the guy or the alternative is a third by christmas.

Gus Poyet, he's just resigned in China.
Not ideal, but he has his ways in spooking the opposition.

I think he'd lost the players mate, looking at the bench and who he left on it, spoke volumes. I hate rumours, but the ones circulating about him being a bit of a dick and upsetting all and sundry would appear on face value at least, to have some credibility attached to them.

If one was a conspiracy theorist, it would be easy to hypothesise that the chances were missed on purpose yesterday to ensure the sacking of the manager, that would go some way to explain the absolute fcking sitter that Dann put wide of the post when it was easier to score.

But that would be silly wouldn't it ?

So he signs and is training with the first team straight aways and plays a game this week but he was injured?

None of us really know what the personal dynamics between Steve and Frank were. One valuable lesson I learned as a manager is not to let a personnel issue fester. If you have a made a mistake in an appointment it is better for you and for that person if you admit it and move them on.

I have no idea if Frank was a mistake and I wish him well. As for Steve well I am prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. I genuinely think he wants to move us on from being a yo-yo club. When I have my doubts about Parish all I have to do is look down the road to Charlton who have been lumbered with an uncaring stay away owner, no contest.

Lets get behind the team and the new manager. After being a fan for 50 years I think I can say with confidence it is never boring being a Palace fan.

This has really changed my opinion on Parish & Co.

Four games? This is bad for football in general.

We didn't have to play so well in that case. We could have done another Wigan like when Kember was sacked.

Can't understand this needless knee-jerk reaction from the board. Frank DeBoer is a scapegoat for bad management.
I'm disgusted with this news and feel sorry for FDB as he didn't have a chance without the signings we needed but didn't get!!
Sorry but for me the blame lies at Parish door for the bad management.
Now we get Roy Hodgeson which to me is a step backwards and into the Championship next season...

I'm still confused by all that tweeting last night when Parish seemed to be giving his full backing to de Boer. I very much doubt he would do that if he intended to sack him the next day so what went on this morning?
