I want him to be given time because I want to see us play a brand of football that gets us away from survival every season. The big problem is that we do not have many games to continue the change before we become too detached from the pack. Last season, Stoke's first win was indeed in October but going into that game they had accrued 3 pts including a draw at Man Utd. And in the previous season they finished in a creditable 9th position so they never went into the start of last season on the back of a relegation fight and with a new manager. Another report win at Burnley or lose your job. Club hasn't denied this rumour. You would feel that if he had a long term future they would deny this rumour. Willo must have his head in the sand. Are you an ostrich. Edited by Dan89 (03 Sep 2017 6.51pm) Edited by Dan89 (03 Sep 2017 6.52pm)

That maybe but the comments Parish made the other day about this being a results business and how Frank knows that were about the most luke warm vote of confidence you could hear. Clear that FDB is on borrowed time already.

You maybe right , unfortunately even de Boer himself claimed that Swansea was must win. The players have lost confidence in the manager. Also there's no just one rumour of him losing his job there's multiple. It probably the right decision to give him 10 games but let's say his fails in them 10 and has 2 or 3 pts. Then it's a 28 season to get 37 pts. Then you need to average over 1.3 pts per game and draws become irrelevant. I think Steve parish is making the right decision questioning Fdb position. I think it's more than just play 433 but actually playing to our forward strengths, which is not in his philosophy. how cab you say hes lost the dressing room? big claim there i bet you cant back up, or was there a news feed on your football manager game?

I reckon he has or is at least in the process of losing the dressing room. I don't know that for a fact of course as I don't have any inside knowledge, just an opinion. He has certainly lost the confidence of a lot of Palace fans and many outside commentators. The players don't play like they buy into the new system or are at all comfortable with it. First half against Swansea they all stood off and all looked scared of making a mistake when in possession. Edited by cpfc1976 (03 Sep 2017 8.07pm)
