This was the guy we missed in the transfer window. Scored a blinder couple of weeks ago in champions league. Probably missed our chance but would be a great addition.

Llorente is. Your right. Guys tuson is not a target man. His is more like our wingers but plays more central. Tuson was that guy we were looking at to make those runs. But was never back up for benteke in the formation with one up front that we play. Tuson would've played Loftus role. Palace knew they needed a player like benteke or Wickham more so which is why we went after niasse. That messed up cos of the agent fees. But tuson was only ever the extra bit of magic on top of niasse. We couldn't afford both hence we tried to pay for tuson over two seasons. Have we possibly missed out? Yes. Likely. Did we ever really have the money to afford him? Likely no.

My gut says we'll get him in Jan and he'll be one of the last missing pieces from making us a great side. Can imagine him playing through the center, with wilf an andros either side. Plus gives us such a different option than always playing the target man route. Lets not forget hopefully at some point Wickham and Bentk will be fit, so really do we want to spend money on another target man for a short term fix. Get this guy signed up i say.

You're like right, although we have the advantage of offering first team football and london living. Its helped us sign others so fingers crossed it helps get him over the line. But yes I'd imagine a Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea or Everton might come in.
