I think we need to hold our nerve with him and back him this week with some good transfers. As painful as the first 3 games have been it must at least have highlighted to the board our need to complete our move for Sakho plus a couple more.

In. For now anyway. Frank only lasted 85 days at Inter. If Palace sack him now his managerial career is over. He must be aware of that and would be daft not to adapt. He already showed he could change the system - he did this in the second half against Swansea. Secondly, we would have very little cred if we sacked him after 3 games. It would be very hard to get in another manager with proven Prem experience. I don't think Big Sam is interested at this point. And as another poster pointed out, Wilf was clattered to bits against Huddersfield and hasn't played since, and RLC (who looks great to me) also didn't play. We've got some very good players at Palace but confidence is low. Frank needs to work on that, and it doesn't help to tell the players that they lack courage - his 3-4-3 system has made headless chickens of them all. So if Frank has an ounce of common sense, he'll change the system to one that suits the available players. His own career as a manager is on the line not just his job at Palace.
