I think half the issue here is De Boer is used to working with players who are used to his style and are used to playing it,

He's come to poor to average premier league side, worked on the assumption well what I do is right and shown sod all ability to adapt it for what he actually has.

I also think he is working on the assumption that all the players are as good as he was. They aren't.

Inter and Ajax were never going to be relegation candidates no matter how much he screwed up. We are.

De Boer tactics crap.

Team passion and urgency crap.

Kelly defending that goal crap (but maybe caught cold).

I cannot possibly see how you can dig Hennessey for that though. A low shot a foot out bottom corner. Come on. De Gea doesn't save that.

Surely we can't go on playing like this. This is a huge step backwards in terms of tactics, pocession and commitment. The players look depressed, no passion being shown at all.

Holy s*** Benteke looked pissed, the rest of them dejected. Game over unfortunately, and I think faith in Franky lost by the players.

Looking absolutely venomless in front of goal, defence has been okay despite some dreadful mistakes, but attack, and especially set pieces has been reminiscent of a deflated balloon.

Get punch off, I'm sick of the sight of him. Get cabaye on. The players need a rocket up there arse at half time.

Absolutely f***ing dreadful. Totally unacceptable. Hardly anything created, dodgy at the back, usual mistake and stupid goal. 1-0 down at home to Swansea with no Gylfi and no Llorente.

An utter shambles.

Puncheon has been total crap. Van Arnholt not much better. Ward has played ok, as has Hennessey (goal definitely not his fault). This system does not suit these players. Change the system or the players or we are down.

This isn't Palace and what in the world is van Aanholt doing? He's misjudging the ball and that's what led to the goal. They look like strangers again and very shaky in defense. Also very tentative in possession and sporadic in attack. Worst of all, they're boring.

I'm willing to be patient, but f*** me that was one of the dullest halves I've ever seen. 1/3 of the game must have been Swansea's back three passing it between themselves, 1/3 Palace back three struggling to pass it and 1/3 tedious interspersed with misplaced passes.

Somehow we need to speed the game up and put their defence under pressure. Hopefully Frank will make some adjustments at half time. We need to be more aggressive in the tackle and more direct with our running.
