In favour of Marco Silva for balance:-

At Olympiakos, Silva won the title and impressed his players once again with his work on the training ground. "It was amazing," Pajtim Kasami tells Sky Sports. "We won 17 times in a row. You could see right there that he was a manager with a big future. He is very intelligent tactically. He devotes a lot of time to the details.

"He is like a genius."

He is well out of Watford for sure.

Back in September when we had the idiot dutchman in charge who I wanted out after ONE GAME , let alone four , there was at least 60% of people on here screaming how good Marco Silva was and how we " missed out "
After watching his dismal performance with Hull against us where he basically sulked for 90 minutes my comments on him and Watford were ~ They were in a false early position , and he was very very overrated .
I got slaughtered on here ( again )

Oh well
I dont wanna say I told you so ,
But ~ I told you so

Maybe you was slaughtered not because of what you had to say but because you came across as an absolute bellend, spamming the board with irrelevant repetitive threads.

Like this one that had to be merged.

The truth is he hasn't done anything in the premier league to write home about.
Yes he had a good start with Watford, but it's has gone pear shaped now.
He reminds me of a Portuguese Pardew.,flatters to deceive.

And I do believe parish offered to fly him over for an interview.

I am no parish brown nose, he's made some big time f*** ups,but people on here would blame him for the bad weather given half a chance.

always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.

Wait is this a reference to him saying what if the sun does in fact rise tomorrow?

I can't for the life of me understand why he was on holiday. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we ended up with Hodgson rather than Silva, but we had just lost our manager and had only just escaped relegation after a whole year of struggling. And where was our chairman when we needed him? Rapping on a cruise ship. I'm not saying he shouldn't be allowed time off, but it's no exaggeration to say our club was in crisis. He should've been glued to that desk until a new manager was appointed and a transfer budget was in place. Then he could've just let the manager get on with it and do whatever he felt like until the start of the season. Maybe then we wouldn't have taken five weeks to appoint the wrong man AGAIN.

I agree but some think all business can be done using modern technology. In reality when there's a crisis so someone from above, head office, America or wherever it may be arrives at 9am the next morning. Actually this should've been the case when Frank went off in his own direction and the transfer conversation nonsense was going on at the training ground. We hope he's learned from this but also hope Roy and good staff are running things this summer.

Well for a bell end I seem to get a lot right , unlike you mugs that know zero about the game and just repeat whats the popular choice . Marco Silva nor FDB will ever work in the premiership again ~ wait and see !

I’d say you were wrong , Watford were 4/5th in the table when Everton came along and he made it obvious he wanted to leave and that’s when it went downhill , and he still left with Watford sitting tenth, he’s clearly a good manager but needs to settle somewhere and stay for longer than a year or less.

He is so over rated. Won a few games at Hull then took them on a terrible run that sent them down.
He was repeating the pattern at Watford , shame they sacked him.

Leaving someone tenth or leaving a team just 4 points above the relegation zone. Both a true yet sound so different depending on the one you use lol
