My mistake. More of a 'When in Rome' thing then.

Indeed. I'll stop soon. It seems to me the vitriol ramped up when Labour made gains rather than being wiped out as quite a few holers have been predicting for months.

This place appears to be more right wing than the country as a whole. In that little bubble of the false comfort everyone gets gee'd up believing all kinds of nonsense. The next election will be the interesting one.

This forum not representative? Let's not forget that the Tory party was significantly the largest party.

I wouldn't say Hol was short of lefties....Some of our most impressive contributors are lefties. Personally I'd say a forum with a slight bias towards the right is probably a more accurate reflection of the country than otherwise.

If you want a left wing loony controlled echo chamber, go on the BBS. They will welcome you.

LOL there is a man with a ban rather than a van.

He is clearly worried about this Palace site being too right wing. I'm sure he already knows where all those missing lefties hang out.

It definitely appears to be more heavily skewed to the right than the general populous, and fair play BBS is in the opposite direction. I doubt if you took a poll of the votes of either forum you'd get anything approaching the break down of the election.

It would be interesting to know who everyone voted for to put that to the test but possibly a bit of hassle for the mods.

The BBS has its fair share of right on nonsense no doubt about that.

I'll not rise to being lumped in as a loony, as you appear to be suffering from jaundice already so can do without seeing red.

I' d say that all political persuasions get treated a with good level of respect on here. That's more than I can say for the BBS. Spit.
Equally, no one can come on here and say what ever the like. It's a fair trade to maintain civility.

Some people do push the boundaries of taste occasionally though. Eh! Nick.

Yeah. I think Jamie is punishing me for moaning about it.

No point in arguing with the gods of mod. They have the power.
