Teflon Phil, I'd guess. Anyway..... it's got to be Mullery. Not only a sh*t manager but an obnoxious c*nt into the bargain. All these other names being bandied about had at least one redeeming feature but Mullery ticked every "c*nt' box available. Edited by Cucking Funt (11 May 2017 2.09pm) This sums it up perfectly!! I can't even believe it's a debate, palace's most hated, disliked manager of all time IS Alan Mullery!! There should only be one man on the list and the thread should've been closed ages ago!!

Pretty much every manager we've had in the last 20 years has been mentioned already! Tough job I guess

When I think of Dave Bassett my only image is of the Holmesdale work being completed (I think it was around the same time) and I think I spent more time gawping over at the Holmesdale from the AW than watching any actual football.

I was never a fan of Francis, Burley or Taylor, but my most disliked manager by a country mile was Mullery.

It's that kind of namedropping where you don't drop names, just suggest that you are ITK whilst actually saying bugger all. Hot air and bulls***. After all, to say that someone in the organisation was opposed to a particular appointment is a cold reading, isn't it? Whenever an important appointment is made, someone somewhere doesn't like it.
