And you're not helping. At a time when everyone has to pull together you'd rather say you were right and almost seen happy we're in more trouble than it seemed. I agree with premier fan.you do come across as almost being happy willo. So when we are mathematically safe will you post a we are staying up thread? Just thought i'd ask.

I have supported our team through 'Thick' and 'Thin' since the 60s - how can I be happy with our current plight towards the bottom of the table in a relegation dogfight ? You ask my dear wife if you think I am happy about it - she is 'sick to the back teeth' of my constant moaning about it ! I will be very positive and elated if we are 'Mathematically safe' but sadly I don't feel we will get to this point.

What if Boro go on a winning streak? They're beating Man City.

I'm sure this current state can't make you happy, being a palace fan, it's just that your happiness about being 'right' is undermining your sorry about where we are. Just seems like an odd piority to me. COYP

This is a debating forum where one can express one's opinions/frustrtaions etc etc which of course won't receive universal approval. The smorgasbord of opinions on HOL and others of the like can stimulate the debate with the fermenting of high dudgeon often the result.Sometimes words are nothing more than getting from A to B rather than something to be enjoyed and explored.Debates can be in turns pulsating and saccharine. The joys of Palace and the reason I have no fingernails. Bit more optimism round here wouldn't hurt. How about Utd losing Luke Shaw and Eric Bailly to injuries. As Mourinho said afterwards "At the moment, we can walk from the bed to the toilet and break a leg,"
