Trying to be positive...the FA Cup semi-final is going well. Tottenham playing at full strength and 0-1 to an early goal...fast-paced game...early yellow card for Spurs centre-back. Hopefully a long, tiring chase for them to get back in contention. Perhaps an injury or two along the way, then ultimate demoralisation?

Small margins...

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

i think you like me have seen it all where palace are concerned i have the name OLDHAM branded into my memory , the over confidence on here i found very worrying

I think some of the confidence on here has been mis-placed.Yes I distinctly recall Oldham !

An almost certain defeat tomorrow and some of those who have been "Over-Confident" might change their minds.

I remember Oldham. I also remember Sheffield Wednesday and Stockport. Over confidence breeds complacency. Negativity breeds anxiety. Both emotions are unhelpful at the minute.

If we lose to both Liverpool and Spurs, that puts us 4 points plus goal difference ahead of 18th with 4 games to play.

We still have Hull and Burnley to play at home.

Still feeling loads better than 2 months ago.

It's not being over confident. Its being optimistic 5w 1d 1L in last 7 games. Players giving their all. The way fans like you go on as if we're going lose every game we have left. I'm sure after the improvement since Sunderland that we capable of picking up at least one win. Have the faith .

It's simple. Beat Burnley and Hull. If we lose the other 4, then Swansea would need to win 4/4 AND Hull would need to win 3/3 for them both to go past us. TWO Oldhams, if you like.

Swansea and Hull would swap places with Palace in a heartbeat.

Our form is good - chill out some of you. We'll end on 41 points.

The results going against us today would have focused the players that the job is far from done.

Not a bad thing in my opinion.

The only way we are going down now is if we lose our last 6 and even then that might not lead to the trapdoor.

Swansea would still have to win two from three if Utd beat them next weekend.

I'm relaxed.

Sam target was 38 pts. That would be one win for us. That would mean Swansea need 39 due to inferior goal difference. Them Needing a further 8 pts (2d 1L) or 3 wins out 4 games. With a goal difference of -30 odd . They will lose at least once more this season.
