Found a definition of 'Racism' : Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior. 1.1 The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races. Thing is that when one hears a plethora of accusations about people being "Racist" etc etc one can conclude that the boundaries of what is considered to be "Racist" are continually expanded. I've heard some ridiculous and risible allegations in my time ! We have probably reached the stage where it is considered 'Racist' to say that one doesn't have a liking for "Irish stew" or "German shepherd' dogs.

There was an article the other day that it's racist to drink milk on the basis that for years America promoted the health benefits of drinking milk whilst neglecting to mention that the benefits aren't as pronounced for black people and can even be bad for them. On that basis, anyone continuing to drink milk is a racist. Come on then everyone, own up. How many of you still drink milk? You might as well open a concentration camp you filthy b*stards.

Yeah, I don't disagree and I know I was being extremely picky. I do fear that it won't be long before everything is "racist". And before the opposite is suggested, I am actually blaming patronising middle class white people for it.

It might just be me, but I tend to determine if I like someone based on their personality and individual behaviour. I know, I'm a progressive liberal like that.
