Got to say this is a magnificent achievement by Brighton. Nearly a non-league club 20 years ago - and to now be in the Premier League is an amazing turnaround.

Everyone will acknowledge the Amex is superior to Selhurst as a top flight stadium and there is no point knocking their support as they have a much bigger catchment area that could ensure sustainable Premier League status for years.

Credit where credit is due.

This is your first post in 4 years of having a Hol account. Get back to NSC. You should be celebrating promotion today not posting on a palace forum you loser. And they call us Nigels?

Can we put this thread on hold until we are actually safe. Because this would be absolute gold for that lot if we get relegated. And you know they're reading it !

Let Sam finish the job and then we can start talking about next season.

I begrudgingly had a congratulatory beer earlier in honour of a friend who is a Brighton fan. Watched the semi final second leg with him on the telly, had a wager before the game that whoever lost would wear the victors shirt to the pub. We won, and he obliged. Also bought us a round. A very good sport and I hope he enjoys his single season with the big boys

"Brighton are talking about how they're coming for us. And it's like, we've been waiting in the Premier League for you for ages." Wilfried Zaha, 2017.

Hope they do a Derby,
talking of derbys absolutely buzzing for an away day down at the Amex again!!

personally I can't see Murray scoring much in the prem however you know Sod's law he's getting one against us.. just hope he doesn't celebrate... and we end up with 6 points

Why is this thread not in Palace Talk?

Surely it is Palace-related insomuch that it is entirely about our rivalry with them?

No doubt this articulate appraisal of the qualities of Brighton will feature heavily in the sports pages of the Sun.

I do hope most of this tongue in cheek. The new found aggression and childishness is rather a worry.

For the record imo they will need a huge squad overhaul to stay in the Premier League. That squad is simply not strong enough.

No need to worry about them establishing themselves - they won't.

Ask any Norwich fan, Chris Hughton wasn't known as Hopeless Hugh for nothing.
