I know the Shrublands well. 15 years ago it was a predominately white, right wing, working class area. In the last 5-7 years it's demographic has changed considerably and has seen a big surge in ethnic minorities (nowt wrong with that) but this in turn has led to turning the estate into a bit of a volcano, just waiting to explode.

That said, you can hold out hope that they might be Farage fans, Kippers or other assorted Brexiteers. After all, it would fit your narrative, right?

The point is that certain people want to use such an attack to highlight the apparent racism in Britain by white people, especially since Brexit.
All of this is codswallop and a cynical use of someones misfortune for political gain.
In the event, at least some of the suspects seem to be black, so the usual suspects have made themselves look like total idiots.
