It's the number of shots and the goals scored that matter, not necessary the possession Well sorry to piss on your chips but we also scored less goals and had less shots at the same point that season too.

Take those statistics into consideration, SMART PANTS, and realize that Liverpool is 4th and Hull is f******ing 18th and it was just 90 minutes that nobody could control. But at the end of the championship, Liverpool will be at least 10 positions higher BECAUSE of those statistics And Leicester won the EPL with 37% average possession. The actual fact is statistics are objective & results are not. You sit there at your keyboard spouting 'facts' that actually mean diddly squat in the real world. When called out you simply get abusive. Look at WBA this season, unless I am imagining things they are sitting 8th in the table with the least possession, shots etc of any team in the top half of the league other than Burnley - who are much worse, statistically speaking, yet are 9th. Liverpool may well finish at least 10 places higher than Hull but that's because of points won, not simply statistics. The game yesterday may have only been 90 minutes but the stats you usually cling to show quite clearly that Liverpool 'controlled' that game. Fact is they didn't win it, end of.
Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it.. |

WBA have A LOT of shots each game. Mainly because they're masters of counter attack

Yes, a good attack isn't all there is, this isn't rocket science and you can still get relegated with 50 goals, like Stuttgart did. But if you score more you have a higher percentage chance of finishing in a better position. Especially since the introduction of the 3 points per win rule. The rest are exceptions

The season before that saw 2 of the top 3 with best defence as well as goals scored. The same the season before that. So, not so b******* after all. To use an Allardyceism, if you don't concede you only need 1 goal to win a game. I seem to recall Arsenal underlining this several years ago.

IT DISPROVES YOUR POINT BECAUSE FOR THE MAJORITY OF THERE CAREER THEY PLAYED IN CENTRAL MIDFIELD NOT ON THE WING LIKE PUNCHEON. Are you really trying to continue this comparison between Pirlo and Puncheon, saying that what this desperate team right now needs is for Puncheon to play as the holding mid. Hahaha. I'll give it to you, you are one colossal bell end.

According to the official EPL stats they've had 5 more than Hull, 4 more than Burnley & 43 less than us. Go figure... You do actually understand that Football Manager is not 'real' don't you? 72% possession but, guess what, they lost 2-0. PS: no need to SHOUT we can read in lower case too. He really doesnt understand that point mate, I've been trying to tell him this since he listed his 48 million transfer targets a few weeks ago. Dunno who this guy thinks he is
