Where's the thread attacking Tomkins who was directly responsible for about two of the goals and missed a sitter (again) when it was 1-0?

He's been useless as well as Hennessey. Never liked the signing from the word go.

Yes, an awful mistake over a year ago. Your point?

Exactly, that's how long we have had to endure this keeper.

Good signing. Performed like sh1t. Pardew when Tomkins was settling in was texting his mistress about boring training sessions with his Oliver Sweeneys up on the desk whilst Millen et al did any of the work.

Anyone questioning it is ith anything valid? Garner? Off you go. A real amateur old boys club. But no, in Kermit's thread Pardew would have us 27th and there's never be a problem.

And noone else has made any mistakes? Might help if people weren't chanting for old Speroni during the game, or if Speroni left the pitch before the game with everyone else instead of going off on his own so he can milk the applause.

Can't believe that people actually think Hennessey was fouled for the first goal.

For a man of his stamp he is incredibly weak. He was at fault for the first goal no question. I don't actually think he was at fault for the second. It was a great strike in off the post.

The third he shouldn't be getting beaten from there. Defoe still had plenty to do. Poor positioning. The fourth is all down to Tomkins.

We've got to seriously consider giving Speroni a go now.

Hennessey has his issues but 37 year old Speroni isn't the answer.

Yes many players are making mistakes of course. That taken into account surely you watch WH week in week out and can see the amount of handling errors he makes from very basic crosses or shots.

Not long term no. And I only say it as Mandanda seems to be out injured forever!!

If I had a choice I would actually play Mandanda above Speroni and Hennessey.

Also I don't think age for goalkeepers is that relevant. I can remember a certain ex Palace goalkeeper (the best we ever had in my opinion) being 40 years old and playing superbly for Everton.
