Honestly I have never been a fan of suggestions...because all too often it leads to the world of fantasy football. Someone might suggest Brady or Ben Davies and I'd think well that's a bit obvious when we are already linked. Then someone might suggest we sign Giroud or Rashford and I think to myself what planet are they living on? Of course everyone is free to post what they would like to post but I always feel it is safer to discuss the potential of players we are being linked with rather than random players with no link to us at all...because that list is 500 strong and we haven't been linked to any of them so why discuss them at all?

Then don't claim they're unhappy. It's really that simple.

Ummmm.....really? My claim was that I knew more than 100 players who cost less than 10 million. Validated Then he kept on asking me childish, like who are these guys and why did I pick them and why would they come Palace. I answered as best I could, giving my assumption that they're unhappy because they're not playing or that they're undervalued by their clubs (which, with a lot of research, you'd find out it's true for the players I named) Now, many times, including on page 3 of this thread, this guy kept telling me "You claimed you knew for a fact that over 200 players were unhappy and were available for under 10m" QUOTED word for word. The entire discussion is just a waste of time and if you think I got owned because he quoted me saying something different than what he lied that I said...fine. I don't plan on wasting my time anymore in silly chats. If someone really knows football, tactics, players, I'm happy to engage in conversation. Otherwise, just stick to your level Reading your posts, you obviously have an in depth knowledge of European football. How have you acquired this knowledge?

To be fair you created that list of players and then claimed that they were unhappy because they were not playing week in week out. This statement type of statement will usually generate a question like "how do you know they are unhappy" because you have just assumed that because they are not playing they are unhappy which is not always the case

I have a job like everybody else, even coaching non-professional football. I don't know how savvy I am, but I do consider myself above most managers (like Alan Pardew or Sam Allardyce). If they're managers doesn't mean we should bow to them. They have been in football for a long time and are well connected in high places, that's why they get the jobs. They're millionaires. When you're a millionaire you develop friendships with journalists and pundits. A 10.000 dollars gift and you have a journalist friend for life. He writes an editorial praising your skills as a manager in the most read newspaper. And you get jobs in the PL. I've found very intelligent people on forums, more intelligent than myself. I learnt a lot and shared a lot. There are some who could very well do a better job than 99% of managers. But there are also people on forums who are are just disrespectful and don't know anything about football

Not always, but anyway, the fact that the players you named were not all regular starters does not mean that they are defenitly unhappy and want to leave their club for £10 million or less or leave their club at all. You can only assume that which is the point people are making

Are you ever going to say anything positive. I thought the system worked really well for us today and we almost got a point against a very good everton side who put 4 past city last week. What was more important to me was that every player gave 10% today and were shattered at the end. Something I haven't seen for a long while. If we play like we did today against the 'lower ' reams I feel confident we will pick up points. Really? We created so little? Need to give it a go against the crap teams. GT
