Replay required.

At least we didn't get turned over or let one in and another chance to look at some of these players I suppose. But could do without the extra game and disappointing to create so little.

Clean sheet though for Speroni on his record-breaking appearance. Legend.

I know the result is pretty bad but in the grand scheme of things I'd rather be a palace fan than a Bournemouth fan right now !

this BFCS experiment just gets better & better

Would you have had us play a full strength side then? Give your brain a chance for a change rather than the opposite. There's only one FC around here.

Trying to find a positive (apart from the clean sheet and record appearance from Jules)...

Remy, apparently, looked very sharp whilst he was on. Him and Benteke together up front might shake up a few Premiership defences.

Normally on Third Round Day one or two Premiership clubs humiliate themselves by getting turned over by someone than on paper oughtn't to get near them. But from our point of view we don't prioritise these matches, the opposition do and for them it's a big match. To come away from it in once piece is OK really in the scheme of things.

Stoke, West Brom and Bournemouth are all out.

This is Bolton who have only lost once at home this season against a team with the worst win record in the football league in 2016 - just no pleasing some people. Plus we get to see Speroni play at Selhurst in the replay and another game for Remy to get match fit.

Not sure why you will defend Big Sam till the death. Imagine defending losing 2-1 at home to Swansea - hilarious.

Dont think we can judge BFS yet, but certainly a very poor start

Dont let Cabaye go

Lately the only Premiership defence that's been shaken up by Benteke has been our own.

A replay is not a complete disaster as it may give some of those injured who are close to a return some game time before being thrown into a PL game, also it gives Sam a chance to look at some fringe players to see if they are up to taking part in our survival fight.
