The transfer window is open for another 4 weeks to get in the players we need. Big Sam has never managed a team that has been relegated (look at the job he did with Sunderland last year and they were in a much worse position then than we are now!) Have faith people. I think you will find that Allardice was managing Notts County when they were relegated, so not entirely true. However his recent records suggests he will find a way of getting us out of this mess. After last nights performance he has his work cut out.

We'll stay up but it won't be pretty. We've thankfully got just two league games before the end of the window, by which time we will surely have strengthened and hopefully, finally, will get something resembling a full squad together rather than the constant stream of injuries we've endured over the last 12 months. Recruitments needed now. Centre back, left back, defensive mid and a left winger.

The injury list is pretty grim reading for January. We need a DM and a full back as a priority, a CB would be ideal and we need at least another striker. Campbell and Beneteke alone won't cut it.
